Nhlanhla DlaminiFounder and Managing Director
Nhlanhla Dlamini is the Founder and Managing Director of Maneli Foods. His expertise covers strategy, operations, energy, transport and logistics and banking.
Nhlanhla holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) from Wits University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (with Distinction) from the Wits Business School, an MPhil in Development Studies from Oxford University, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a Goldman Sachs Global Leader and a Rhodes Scholar.
Prior to establishing Maneli Foods, Nhlanhla worked for McKinsey & Company for 5 years, and for Morgan Stanley as an investment banker in London.
Sipha Ndawonde is a Partner at Maneli Foods and Managing Director of Maneli Pets. Sipha’s areas of expertise include strategy, business development and investment.
Sipha holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree (with Distinction) from Kwa-Zulu Natal University and a post graduate Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town. Prior to joining Maneli Pets, he acted as a consultant across a variety of industries in several African countries - ranging from renewable energy at Frost & Sullivan, to agribusiness at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and impact investing at Edge Growth.
Guy JacksonAssociate and Finance Manager
Guy Jackson is an Associate at Maneli Foods and the company’s Procurement Manager. Guy has a passion for stimulating economic development in South Africa with a focus on job creation and poverty alleviation through social entrepreneurship.
Guy holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance Honours) from the University of Cape Town and is also a CFA charter holder. Prior to joining Maneli Foods, Guy worked for Sovereignty Capital, a boutique corporate finance firm, and for Musa Group as a consultant in their Private Equity division.
Peter LangleyAssociate and Operations Manager
Peter Langley is an Associate at Maneli Foods and the company’s Production Manager. His areas of expertise include bulk materials handling, systems and process design, and business development. and he is committed to driving growth in Africa through business development and entrepreneurship.
Peter holds a BSc Honours in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, and an MBA through the Graduate School of Business. Peter’s career began as an engineer at Hatch, focused on innovation in mining, energy and infrastructure. He then moved to Edge Growth, where the focus is on funding and developing small businesses in South Africa.
